Dad is doing pretty good for 89 years old. The trip to Hickory Saturday was to celebrate his birthday along with our friend Brian. Tonight I picked them up after work to meet Frances and Bob at Zoe’s for his second birthday dinner. Frances has pictures from Saturday Bob downloaded for me from her camera when she picked him up to go to dinner.
Yesterday afternoon we had a fairly bad thunderstorm. Lots of wind and pouring rain, about an inch and half before all was said and done. Lots of limbs and leaves down. With the dry weather I noticed some of the leaves are already starting to fall.
This afternoon we had another storm. I don’t know how bad it was here but it there was a lot of thunder, lightning, and rain downtown.
