Things have settled down some at work. I went to the Y last night. Tonight I met Nancy and Betsy for dinner. We have been trying to meet for about six weeks but kept having to cancel for one reason or another.
A big thunderstorm hit downtown this afternoon just as I was getting ready to leave work. We were meeting at Bernardine’s, which is on the other end of uptown. I would have been a little earlier than our 5:30 meeting time but could go ahead and get out table. Instead, I waited until the secretary I support was leaving at 5:15. She parks in the building parking lot and gave me a ride over to my parking deck. They did not have to wait too long before I got there. It was good to have a night out with the girls.
