I am reading a new author on my Kindle, Maria Hudgins’s Death of an Obnoxious Tourist, the first book in her Dotsy Lamb Travel Mystery series. The author, a retied high school science teacher, lives in Hampton, VA, a place I have visited many times in the past to visit one of my mom’s sister. She is now living in an assisted living place with alzheimers.

We had new garage doors installed today. As I mentioned last week we had a quote from the Costco guy. The next day we had the company come out that installed the new door motor back in 2010 give us a quote. The second contractor offered us a much better quality door without replacing the existing tracks for about $50 more so we went with them.

Needless to say the inside of the garage looks 100% better since the new stores are insulted and closed in on the backside. Plus they will keep in cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter with the insulation. Now I have to add to my to-do list painting the basement door and frame white to match the new doors,
