This morning when I looked out the bathroom window before jumping in the shower I was amazed to see everything covered in white. We had roughly two inches of wet snow on the ground and light snow still falling. This one was not predicted thus now pre-treating of the roads with brine, salt trucks, or plows.
I had no trouble in the Trooper and, the closer to town I drove, the better the conditions. I left at 8:15 and taking my time arrived at the parking deck at 8:40. Most of the streets were just wet or a little slushy in town but outlying areas, especially to the south of us had more snow and ice.
