Happy Memorial Day. Yesterday afternoon Bob and I along with Colin went over to Frances and Al’s dinner. As usual, Frances made all kinds of yummy sides and Al grilled ribs, dogs, and burgers. We ate outside on their little patio. It was a nice day with low humidity and a nice breeze. This was Colin’s first social event away from home. We kept him on the roller leash or the short lead tied to Bob’s chair while we ate. He behaved very well during the three hours we were there.
This morning I started the oven on it’s self cleaning process, caught up the ironing, and washed and capped a bowl of strawberries Frances gave us. Today is kit stuff for Bob. We brought enough food home from Frances and Al’s to heat up for dinner so I do not need to cook other than boiling the fresh corn she also gave us.
