I had a nice trip down to Winston yesterday. I met my work friends Lori and Tina uptown for lunch then ran errands until time to meet Al at their house. He was out taking care of one of his senior clients. We drove over to our old neighborhood to pick up Gilbert, another of Al’s senior clients, to take him out to dinner with us. It was Frances’ late night to work.
She also works late again tonight making it work out great for me to stay over and not have to rush to get out of the house this morning. I left her house around 10 to do a Costco run then over to our house to pick up a couple of things and then to nearby Zoe’s to meet Nancy and Betsy for lunch. After lunch I headed back up the mountain.
It was cold and windy down there and it’s still cold and windy up here.
