We went down to Winston yesterday morning. Bob worked on cleaning out his lab and I helped pack up glass ware. We had a Realtor coming at 11:00 to look over the house and get an idea of what we should list it for. The trooper was loaded with more stuff from the lab and basement. Frances and Al showed up a little after two to load up the boards and cinder blocks to haul up here to build shelving in the garage. We left Winston around 2:30. Once up here we set up a set of shelving.
After cleaning up we headed for Brown’s to have a belated birthday dinner celebration for Frances. Back home, we opened presents and had cake.
This morning Al cooked a late breakfast of bacon and French toast. He then spent a couple of hours getting the ceiling fan mounted in the den. They left around 3 to head back home to Winston. It has been raining steadily all morning.
