I am reading Death Pays A Visit, another book in the Myrtle Clover series by Elizabeth Spann Craig.

Today was yard work day. This morning while waiting on the mulch delivery I started digging out the grass for another flower bed along the porch on the other side of the steps. About mid-morning our other neighbor Vickie was out with her grandchildren so I took a break and walked over to visit with her for a few minutes.

The mulch came just as we were about to have lunch. He was able to dump it right in the bed. Bob helped me scoop it into the wheel barrow for me to move it to piles to spread. I had enough to partially cover the new bed I had started. I have a foot or so more grass to finish digging to the end of the porch.

It was windy and partly cloudy but a nice day. We had a heavy rain over night which made the digging easier.
