I am reading Under Cold Stone by Vicki Delany, another book in her Molly Smith mystery series.
Yesterday while down in Winston my left turn signal started rapidly flashing . When I was at the house I checked and sure enough the bulb was burned out. I called Bob and asked him to call our mechanic to see if could get me an appointment for today to get it fixed.
This morning I cleaned house. Bob called a local plumbing company to come out this afternoon to show us how to change the filter in the well pump and to repair the drain pipe in the laundry room sink that had rusted through.
We drove over this morning for my 11am appointment then stopped by Blevin’s Hardware to pick up filters for the well pump and a tarp to cover the new firewood. After lunch I dug out the remaining grass in the strip along the front porch and called the local nursery to deliver another two scoops of mulch. That delivery came while the plumbers where here.
It’s not a very nice day out. 43 degrees with off and on drizzle and 28 mph winds.
