Yesterday at Lowe’s I picked up three varieties of tulip bulbs and one bag each of crocus, and anemone. This morning I was outside by 9:15 to get the tulips in the ground ahead of the predicted front. By the time I finished the winds were blowing 15 to 20 mph with gusts up over 40. The temperatures are falling today from 55 this morning down to the mid 20’s tonight with a slight chance of snow flurries and gusts over 55 mph.

I will plant the other bulbs next week when it warms up and the winds are calmer. We mixed up bread dough to start rising to bake for dinner and Bob also wants to make a “from scratch” chocolate cake this afternoon.
