Not much sleep last night. I did not hear thunder but Colin may have. That plus the heavy rain and wind kept him frightened until around 3am this morning. About the time I would fall asleep he would come up to the head of the bed and try to get between and headboard. I made him lie down between us and comforted him. Eventually he would go back to the foot of the bed and a half hour later repeat his scared routine until the worst of the storm must have passed through.
We had at least 2 inches or more during the night and light rain all day today. It’s cool and windy but tonight is to be back to 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts over 50. It may be another long night tonight!
