After having been off all week today does not feel like Saturday. I hauled the Christmas tree to the curb and hosed out the stand and plastic disc it sits on. I also used the broom and hose to clean the waterproof mat we use to put Colin’s food and water dish on.
I then dusted and returned the stuff for the mantle and the top shelf of the bookcase by the door, scrubbed down the walls in the foyer, vacuumed the foyer and living room and dusted and replaced all the stuff from the table tops . I had intended to do the dining room but bagged it for tomorrow. A full week of scrubbing and cleaning roughly five to six hours a day has finally caught up with me.
It’s a warm and sunny day. I am grilling beef ribs to go with pasta salad for dinner. And as usual, I will be in bed long before mid-night but will be woken up by the fireworks.
