Trip down to Winston today. It rained all the way down, the entire time I was in Winston and all the way home. I had time to run a couple of errands before my 10:30 hair cut appointment. Then, I hit Costco to pick up just a few things I needed to hold me over until I do a big stock up later. From there I met my Firm friends for lunch up town then it was back up the mountain.

Behind this warm, wet front is a cold front bringing 30 to 40 mph winds the next couple of days with some gusts over 70 mph and cold temperatures again. With all the rain we’ve had there could be a lot of trees to come down.

Here in the California high desert we had 0.16″ of rain for all of February, it’s hard not to feel envious of people experiencing real weather…

Ed, we’ve had more cloudy, rainy days in February than we did sunshine. I love the four seasons here but the endless rainy days in the winter can get a bit much. I am now at the age where I am thankful it is at least rain and not snow.
