Happy Birthday to my mom. Frances and I took the day off to spend it with mom and dad. We left town around 9am to drive down to Mebane, about an hour from here, to the Tanger Outlet. We spent a couple of hours there looking and shopping then heading back toward Winston. Fifteen miles from Tanger we stopped at Alamance Crossing. After a very nice lunch at Mimi’s did some looking and shopping at those stores.
Back in Winston we made one more shopping stop at one of the strip malls then a light dinner before taking everyone back home. What a perfect day to be outdoors. I don’t know if we broke the record for high temperatures for today but it was 72 by the time we got back here at around 3pm. Anyway, we had an all around great day.
The lawn mower guy showed up just before I got home to service the mower and leave vacuum for the year.
