Monday July 23

We are watching a new show Bob found on streaming, Parenthood. It sort of like Brothers and Sisters and Modern Family.

I am reading a new Rhys Bowen mystery, Hush Now, Don’t You Cry, in her Molly Murphy series. Molly is now married to Inspector Daniel Sullivan of the NY police. He prefers she give her private investigation business and become the traditional married lady required of women in 1903. They are celebrating their honeymoon on the estate of a city alderman staying in the guest cottage. It’s early October when the rich folks close up their houses for the season. But, weird things are going on in the big house including the alderman summoning the entire family for an as yet undisclosed reason much to Molly and Daniel’s surprise. Murder is an even bigger surprise putting Daniel to work on his honeymoon and Molly back to sleuthing.
