Thunderstorms most of yesterday afternoon brought another inch and a half to rain bucket. We are gradually getting out of the drought situation. Today has been sunny and warm with highs in the low to mid 80’s and breezy.<\/p>\n
No gym or crafting today. I had to get George over to fix a strange issue with the dry vent hosing that runs from the dryer up here and goes down stairs through the unfinished area ceiling out to the vent on the outside.<\/p>\n
I went downstairs yesterday to check on things which I do every week. I noticed water dripping from the dryer vent hose. I called George and he came by to take a look yesterday afternoon. Turns out the vent hose was so clogged with lint that the moisture from drying cloths had soaked into the lint. We cut open a couple of sections and water came pouring out.<\/p>\n
So, he came back today to replace the vent hose then I had to do the laundry. That’s what happens when long vent hoses get clogged with lint after 20 years.<\/p>\n
