Bonnie picked me up at 9:15 to drive to Yadkinville where we met up with the art group she is a member of. From there we drove in a three car caravan to North Wilkesboro, about half an hour up 421. Our first stop was the local art gallery and small gift shop of local artists works. We had a behind the scenes tour of where they teach classes and hold various functions. From there is was a quick drive to another smaller gallery and then uptown for lunch. After lunch we drove to a local antiques consignment place in an old furniture factory. The other two groups headed back to Yadkinville but Bonnie wanted to go back to the first gallery to look a couple of things in the gift shop before heading home.<\/p>\n
We had a warm, mostly sunny day to be out and about.<\/p>\n
