More wind and rain again today with gusts up to 30 mph. As wet as the ground is I hope more trees don’t come down. We have been VERY lucky so far with only minor bleeps in the power.<\/p>\n
I did the usual house cleaning chores this morning and added mopping the kitchen floor. When we move the floors will need to be refinished anyway so this morning I mopped with Dawn and water as opposed the usual hard wood floor cleaners. The reason being, last week when I filled the black finger print powder at the kitchen, table even trying to be careful, some of it managed to get on the floor. When I tried to clean it up with the standard hardwood floor cleaner or water on a paper towel it just smeared making a bigger mess. The only way to get it up was to wet mop with the Dawn. After I mopped I went back over the floor with a drying towel but our floors are the real hardwood, so the water does not hurt them as long as it’s not saturated.<\/p>\n
