I had plans today to drive down to W-S to have lunch with Marcy and pick up another load from the house. Yesterday around lunch time the weather forecast for here was calling for possibly 1-3 inches of snow here and maybe snow in Winston. We decided it would best for me to drive down yesterday afternoon and spend the night at Frances and Al’s. I left here around 12:45. I arrived in W-S about 2. As I working in the house it started snowing fairly heavy. I finished loading up the car just before rush house and headed over to Frances and Al’s to wait for her to get off work. We went out to dinner and back to her house which by that time the side roads had become slick in some places.<\/p>\n
This morning some of the side roads were still icy in spots including in our neighborhood. I made a quick stop by the house then met Marcy for lunch and then headed back up to Sparta. The roads were fine this afternoon but they would have been nasty had I decided to drive down this morning.<\/p>\n
