We had another inch plus of rain last night. No storm, just a hard rain. This morning I changed the sheets and cleaned house. I then headed outside to pick apples. Even with the hard rain there were none on the ground. I picked a full bucket and took those over to our neighbor Vicki then picked another bucket for us. I pulled half the row of carrots. These are not the long skinny carrot you see in the store but a short stubby carrot. Even though I did not thin them we still have a decent crop of little baby carrots and a few bigger, fat ones. Several of the smaller zucchini plants have stopped producing.\u00a0 I pulled those up along with the pea vines that were dead. I picked the few green beans on the vines. Kit projects this afternoon.<\/p>\n
