Gym this morning. It is a very nice warm day with lots of sunshine and, of course, windy. I’d guess 10 mph with gusts 15 to 20. For lunch I harvested another bowl of lettuce for a salad.<\/p>\n
After lunch I raked an area in in the front yard that always accumulates a lot of grass after James mows. I mixed up a bucket of peat moss and compost to use to hill up the potatoes. Then I put in three 5 ft. metal fence posts\u00a0and used twine to make a trellis for the peas. And, in between all those tasks, I played ball with Colin. He is now very good about lying in the yard with his ball while I work not showing any desire to go wondering off. I would never let him be outside by himself but as long as I am out he seems content to be either watching me or playing ball.<\/p>\n
I put browned pork chops in the slow cooker with a couple of cans of cream of mushroom soup, a can of condensed milk, and some onion, garlic, and Worcester sauce for out dinner tonight. Bob can eat the leftovers for dinner next week while I am at Folk school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
