I was in a bit of a quandary about my Christmas tree. Bob has always helped me get the tree in the stand and hold it while I tighten up the bolts. Al, once again saved the day.<\/p>\n
He drove up this morning, took me to the nearby tree farm, helped me choose a tree, threw it in the back of the truck which eliminated tying it to the top of the Trooper, and helped me get it set up in the stand. After a quick lunch he left for Winston. I took a quick shower and I too left for Winston.<\/p>\n
I had not planned to go down today but after talking with his nurse this morning and again around noon I decided I needed to go down. Bob is still struggling mentally with the confusion. The nutritionist did a swallowing test today with the camera but he failed the test. Until he can get his lungs cleared and can swallow he will have to stay in ICU.<\/p>\n
However, he was a little better mentally this afternoon than he was yesterday or this morning. The nutritionist was pleased by is reactions to the various things they tried to get him to swallow he is just not strong enough yet. She did tell me she has seen much worse than Bob pull out of this. Let’s hope so.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
