It was 56 degrees, cloudy, and breezy when I took Colin out this morning. We were supposed to have rain this morning. I went to the grocery store this morning while I was out running another errand.<\/p>\n
I left here around 11:30 to drive down to Elkin to meet Frances and Marcy for lunch. It never did rain here but look like it had rained in Elkin when I arrived there. Frances and Marcy were doing the shops in downtown Elkin where we met for lunch at Southern on Main. After lunch I followed them to a consignment shop that was on my way back out of town. From there we split up. I made a quick stop at Wal-Mart for something then headed back up the mountain.<\/p>\n
The sun had come while we were eating lunch with temperatures in the 70’s. Up here it’s sunny and 60’s with 14 mph winds. We are under a strong wind advisory and freeze warning for tonight. While I had Colin out I raked up some of the debris from the tree project into a pile by the big logs. I still have some\u00a0 more to get up. I put two of my hanging pots in the garage I want to save from the frost and dumped two more hanging pots that are done for the year.<\/p>\n
