Back home then off to Winston to meet my friends for lunch downtown. From there I met another friend for a short visit and to exchange Christmas gifts before heading back up the mountain.<\/p>\n<p>As I was driving to Winston I had a Christmas CD playing. I remembered a long time Christmas tradition from back in the mid to late 60&#8217;s and maybe the early 70&#8217;s. Dad would take us the Firestone tire store to purchase their annual Christmas album. Of course we gave them away a long time ago when vinyl went out but they were great compilations of Christmas music that we enjoyed listening to every holiday season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gym this morning.
