We had a little thunderstorm pop up last night around 9pm bringing another third of an inch of rain. It did not get as hot today as predicted, 91 with a heat index of 103. Several of us walked up town for lunch today to celebrate a birthday. It was rather steamy but did not feel much different when I left work this afternoon.<\/p>\n
Several months ago I ordered some nice looking sleeveless blouses and polo shirts from Land’s End to wear to work during the hot weather. I wore one of the blouses today. When they came in the mail I put them in the laundry to be washed before I wore them for the first time. When Bob was hanging them up I was not paying attention. He said “you need to send these shirts back to Land’s End”. First thing that popped in my mind was they had a bad spot or a flaw. He quickly followed his first comment with, “the sleeves fell of when I washed them.”<\/p>\n
