Down to Winston this morning to meet Firm friends for lunch then a haircut at 1:30 and back up the mountain.<\/p>\n
Hot and muggy down there with temps in the low 90’s. Once I got to Elkin I could tell it had rained. Clouds and damp roads all the way to 21 mountain and into Sparta. The sun was out but I could tell from the debris on the road we had a storm.<\/p>\n
James was just finishing up Steve’s yard as I pulled in to my driveway. I let Colin out to go over with me to talk to James and pay him. He said we had a pretty good storm but it went over fast. Looks like we had a little over a half inch of rain. It’s only in the upper 70’s here. But, we may get storms this evening.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
