I opened the bookstore and worked until closing with Keli who came in mid-morning. We covered for Pat who is out of town. We were steadily busy all day. Lots of out-of-town families up for the day or the weekend along with the regular local shoppers. We did a lot of sales but in small amounts but still but we still had a good day over all. We often have several shoppers, like we did today, who pay for the price of the books but give us a big bill and tell us to keep the change for the donation jar which we keep on the desk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
