A wild night with winds gusting over 65 mph. Yesterday afternoon the wind blew the gas grill the sits up against the house across the deck twice. I finally managed to wedge two extra tanks around the base to keep it in place. I found what I think are are ridge cap shingles in the yard off the roof but I don’t think it is anything serious. I’ll have George take a look next time he is over.<\/p>\n
Otherwise, all looks okay. Lots of debris down to pick up. But, we are lucky compared to Little Rock.<\/p>\n
Today is the usual house cleaning and laundry chores. Fixing the rice this afternoon for stir fry. I am still eating soft foods and avoiding the surgical site for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
