I met Frances and Al around 9 this morning at the Amish store in Hamtonville; about 35 to 40 minutes for each of us. We picked up some things at the market then stopped just down the road at the Amish furniture store where I bought am Amish rocking chair for the front porch.
From there we stopped in Elkin at Hawkes for some outdoor plants and then for lunch at Terry’s Cafe on the way home in State Road. So far, the rain has held off. Frances and I starting potting plants while Al worked on tilling the garden.
