After I did a couple of quick house cleaning chores to get me through until I start my deep clean next week I wrapper Christmas presents.
At 10 I left to run an errand on the way to meet Frances and Al at the house. We filled Al’s truck with the stuff that was going to their storage then worked on the shed. I filled up the trooper with dad’s rocking chair, tools, hanging pots, a bird feeder pole, etc. etc. About a third of the way into working on the shed it started to pour down rain. Al and I got soaked loading the stuff in our vehicles.
From the house we went to the storage unit. While Frances and I sorted all the boxes of Christmas stuff we had taken from the house several weeks ago. Al went back to the house to pick up the load of stuff for Goodwill and more things for the storage. All of mom’s wrapping, gift bags, and boxes was at their storage. We were trying to get that stuff organized before she hauled it over there.
We stopped up at 4:30. There is still a small pile of stuff that goes to mom and dad’s and a load of stuff that goes to Frances and Al’s. We just ran out of time and energy to finish up today. It was either raining or drizzling most of the day.
Bob helped me unload the Trooper when I got home then I jumped in the shower. Bob put a chicken pie in the oven to cook about the time I was heading home.
