Bob and I went over to Costco around noon since Paul and Mary couldn’t go. Just after we left Costco I was going from the straight lane to the turn lane on Hanes Mall Blvd. All of a sudden I saw a blue car in my peripheral vision and heard a bump noise. A young woman in a blue sports car of some kind was in that lane but I never saw her until it was too late. I did not see her when I checked my rear view so she must have been in my blind spot. I pulled in behind her and we followed her into the parking lot of the pet store.
Not much damage to either car, just a small dent in my front side panel and some paint marks. Her car was about the same. We called the cops and stood there in the parking lot talking until they arrived. No tickets, the cops gave us police reports for the insurance companies. Bob will call State Farm tomorrow and they will handle everything for us on our end.
We got about half an inch of rain over night sometime. It was cloudy and dreary this morning but now the sun has come out. Even though it’s only 79 it’s hot and humid especially in the sun.
Yesterday afternoon I worked on more kit stuff for Bob. I think he has a project for me to work on this afternoon while I watch the golf match.
