I am reading Death of a Fool by Ngaio Marsh.

Last night after I arrived home I just unloaded my toiletry kit and tote bags from the car leaving everything else for today. Since it was dark when arrived I couldn’t check the yard and plants to see if we had any damage from last Monday’s storm. An F1 tornado ripped up the counties east of us then came barreling through here knocking down trees and power lines. Fortunately we had no damage. There is a tree down in the back lot of  Grace’s house. Last night we had another 2.4 inches of rain. Today it is a high of 30 degrees with 30 to 40 mph winds and a chance of snow flurries.

I’ve spent the day unpacking, organizing laundry, and cleaning house. With Bob not feeling well while I was gone things were in somewhat of mess, especially the kitchen. I sorted the large stack of mail and cleaned off counters while Bob loaded the dish washer.
