I am reading Hard Truth by Nevada Barr.
Frances and Al arrived late this morning. I had a load of stuff ready to go to Alleghany Cares in Al’s pickup truck. He also helped me get some stuff up to the attic.

I haven’t read any Nevada Barr for years. Thank you for the reminder of a very enjoyable author. I used to enjoy JA Janxecquite a lot, her Seattle police detective was an interesting character.
Houseful of friends and family tonight. Running the third load of dishes now. Grateful to not be washing them by hand. Good food and stories.
