I had a trip down to Winston today to get a haircut, run a bunch of errands, and meet my Firm friends for lunch in town. The dog and the birds now have plenty of food on hand.
Cloudy, warm, and muggy here; cloudy, warm, and muggier down there. It did not rain in Winston until a little after 1 while we were finishing up lunch. It rained on and off during the trip back home and was sprinkling here at the house. Looks like we had some heavy downpours on the way in from the Parkway to the house. The system from the gulf is still moving through. We are under flash flood watch until tomorrow evening with the worst of the rain to come in tonight and tomorrow.
