34 degrees, cloudy, and calm. We had not had any precipitation by the time I left to work the bookstore. Around 10:30 the rain quickly turned to a wet, blowing snow. I had one customer come in around 11. The afternoon shift person called to say temperatures were falling steadily and would continue to do so all afternoon and to just close up when I was ready.
I waited a while longer but no customers so I decided to go ahead a close a little early. The roads are just wet but the grass and higher surfaces are starting to get covered. I stopped by the library to pick up a book on the way home. Along with dropping temperatures the wind is going to pick up.
