29 degrees and sunny with gusty winds. The wind howled all night long.
A trip down to Winston this morning to run some errands before my yearly eye doctor check up. As usual the vision has changed somewhat due to the cataracts but they are still not bad enough to require surgery. New glasses are on order to picked up sometime next week.
It was warm in Winston but also a bit breezy. After my appointment I stopped to eat a bit of lunch while I waited for my eyes to return back to normal before driving back up the mountain.
It’s warmed up a bit but winds are still gusting well over 50 mph.
