51 degrees, sunny, and calm this morning. I am leaving today on my first mini vacation since Bob died. A friend and I are driving the Blue Ridge Parkway south heading toward Hayesville, NC for tonight’s stay. Tomorrow afternoon we arrive in Brasstown for a weekend at the John Campbell Folk School. Regular readers know I have been several times in the past. .
Between Colin and other commitments I did not feel I could be away an entire week so we are going just for the three day weekend classes. Al is here to take care of Colin and the home front.
