I woke up to another flood in the downstairs. Two more of the couplings blew sometime during the night in the wall in the finished area. I turned off the water and waited for the plumber to arrive.

He got here at 1:00. While he fixed the couplings his young 4th grader who came with him helped me vacuum up the water while mopped. I had to move the love seat and sofa, end table, and footstools. Once he left I tidied up enough for the floor to dry, hung up the wet stuff in the unfinished area, and emptied the bucket.

Then I showered and headed to bookstore at 2:30. I was supposed to be there by 1 to work until 8 tonight. The fist Saturday of the month we have Music on Main from 5 to 9. Businesses are encourage to stay open which we do. The headline band plays from 7 to 9 but we closed at 8.

Good night ! It seems that you have had a lot of plumbing leaks. Does the plumber have any idea how many more couplings that might blow out ?

My plumber advises replumbing the house after the third leak. I told him that is a little extreme. We were having trouble with pinhole leaks in bad Mexican copper pipes in the last house.

Low PH in the water causing the fittings to corrode. Plumber coming today to give a quote on a new water filtration system that hopefully will solve the problem.
