A front came through yesterday evening bringing another half inch of rain. Today is sunny and mild with temperatures in the low 70’s and breezy.
I skipped the gym this morning and stayed home to work in the yard. Spent about an hour and half pulling weeds and grass. Dumped another one of the hanging pots on the porch and pulled up some of the dead stuff in the butterfly garden, filled the bird feeders, and tidied up in the garage a little.
This afternoon I need to tidy up in the kitchen; empty the dishwasher and put away the clean dishes on the counter.
You are getting more “Fall” than I am but I definitely know that summer is finally over.
I’m dealing with replacing all the plumbing at my lakehouse too, as all the copper and brass has little pinholes from erosion over time. Even copper has a lifespan of 50 years if the water has issues.
With a house and yard the work never ends 🙂
