28 degrees and sunny with 15 to 20 mph winds. Lots of sunshine but with the winds and a high of 35 we will not spend much time outside today.

My major project for today was to take everything out of the fridge and give it a good clean. I don’t have to worry about spoiled food since it’s just me. I eat or freeze leftovers right away. I removed the produce trays and bottom glass shelf to get to the bottom part of the fridge where there is always remnants of something yucky that had been spilled.

Once I finished the inside I wiped down the outside and the fronts of the oven and dish washer with stainless steel cleaner.

The other project was shredding a huge stack of old paperwork from the filing cabinet. While I am shredding Colin spends around biting his tail and barking.

The weather today has been downright schizophrenic. Snow showers off and on all day sometimes blowing so hard there was a whiteout looking across the gym parking lot. In between would be a mix of sun and clouds. Winds are gusting over 50 mph with temperatures in the low 30’s and lows tonight in the 20’s. The snow is not sticking, just doing a lot of flying around.

I did not go to the gym for my morning workout. Hershel from Shaw Brothers came to change the water filter for the well and fix the aerator on the faucet in the laundry room. It was clogged causing the water to spew everywhere. Thankfully I did not try to take it off or clean the little filter inside because Hershel had a hard time getting the filter out once he was able to remove the aerator. I leave plumbing stuff to the plumbers.

42 degrees with partly cloudy skies when I left for the gym, home, and back to work. Mostly cloudy today with temps in the upper 40’s and a breeze. Mid 30’s tonight with the winds picking up.

41 degrees with partly cloudy skies when I left for the gym this morning. Grocery store on the way home. 50’s today with partly cloudy skies and a breeze. Winds howled last night rattling the shutters and keeping me awake.

48 degrees with rain this morning. It rained steady up until about 1 pm. Now the sun is out but the wind has picked up. Temperatures in the mid 50’s.

I volunteered at the bookstore today.

42 degrees, cloudy, and breezy when I left for the gym this morning.

Friends of the Library meeting today and a staff meeting. Light rain this afternoon with temperatures in the mid 40’s with 10 to 15 mph winds and gusty.

34 degrees and sunny with a breeze. Lots of sunshine and warmer with temperatures in the low 50’s today. More rain for tomorrow.

After I finished the weekly cleaning chores I vacuumed out the car and cleaned the inside of the windows. We usually get enough of a break between bouts of precipitation I can wash the car. Not this winter. It has rained or we had some form of frozen precipitation every couple of days sine the first of the year making it useless.

28 degrees with gusty winds and roughly two inches of snow. It was dry, powdery snow making it easy for the gusting winds to blow it around like a sand storm. Colin enjoyed running around in circles in the snow and playing some ball. With the cold temps and wind chill I only keep him out for a short period of time.

The sun is out but will remain cold and windy today.

Along with the weekly load of laundry I have the usual assorted to-do list. Crock pot chicken for dinner and I need to mix up another batch of suet for the birds.

I am reading Degrees of Separation by Sue Henry.

28 degrees and cloudy when I left for the gym, home, and back to work. Around 11 it started blowing snow. Like yesterday, it snowed off and on all day but no accumulation. The wind today is not as bad; 10 to 15 with 20 mph gusts. Temps in the low 20’s again tonight with snow showers.

24 degrees with blowing snow and 40 mph wind gusts when I left for gym. It snowed all morning but did not stick. I worked my usual shift today. Winds are still howling with temps in the low 30’s falling to the mid 20’s tonight. The high wind warning expires at 7 tonight.
