Thunderstorms most of yesterday afternoon brought another inch and a half to rain bucket. We are gradually getting out of the drought situation. Today has been sunny and warm with highs in the low to mid 80’s and breezy.
No gym or crafting today. I had to get George over to fix a strange issue with the dry vent hosing that runs from the dryer up here and goes down stairs through the unfinished area ceiling out to the vent on the outside.
I went downstairs yesterday to check on things which I do every week. I noticed water dripping from the dryer vent hose. I called George and he came by to take a look yesterday afternoon. Turns out the vent hose was so clogged with lint that the moisture from drying cloths had soaked into the lint. We cut open a couple of sections and water came pouring out.
So, he came back today to replace the vent hose then I had to do the laundry. That’s what happens when long vent hoses get clogged with lint after 20 years.
