Sunny today but chilly. Temperatures are in the upper 50’s but we have those 40 to 50 mph wind gusts until late this afternoon.

CNA is coming this afternoon to help me with my shower.

Al arrived a little while ago. He is out running errands for me; renewing my car tag, bank, and grocery store.

Cloudy and cool today with light showers. The big story is the temperature. We go from hihgs in the 70’s the past few days to a high today in the upper 60’s and back down into the upper 30’s tonight.

The home health nurse arrived around 9:30 this morning. After she left I fixed my breakfast then tidied the kitchen.

Another warm sunny spring day with temperatures in the upper 70’s and a slight breeze.

I cleaned the bathrooms and am doing a load of towels. For dinner putting chicken in the crock pot. Most likely open a can of black eyed peas to go with it. Something easy to manage.

Necessity being the mother of invention I discovered that putting the laundry basket in front of the walker it will turn a little to the side and slide along ahead of me.

Thus, I was able to do the laundry myself today. Made tea and tidied up the kitchen. Otherwise, hanging out in the den enjoying the lovely weather from inside the house and watching the birds.

Partly cloudy, breezy, and warm today. Temperatures in the low  to mid 70s.

Keli dropped off a freshly baked pan of shepherd’s pie around noon on her way to working at the bookstore. I ate some for lunch and froze the rest for future meals. I’ll fix something light for dinner.

I’ve had a rose-breasted grosbeak at my mesh feeder for a couple of days. I am sure he is just stopping by on his way to his summer residence but it was nice to have an unusual bird for our region make a visit.

The CNA came this afternoon to help with my shower. James just finished mowing and stopped in for a quick visit.

Homemade vegetable soup for dinner from Frances and Al’s freezer.

I had a little over an inch and half of rain last night and this morning. The rain was mixed with a little sleet around mid-morning. The temperature this morning was 35 degrees. We warm up to a balmy 45 this afternoon with a chance of more rain showers.

My RN came this morning to draw blood and change out my pic line access.

Last night my internet connection went dead which meant the router either died or needed rebooted. The router is downstairs so…

This morning I called my tech guy. He came by around one. He went down to check and thankfully it just needed rebooted again. If it keeps happening I will have him replace it.

Donna dropped by a few minutes ago to bring me some eggplant parmigiana for my dinner.
