Sunday

This morning was the usual Sunday chores. After I finished I went downstairs to help Bob put up the brackets for one of the shelves he is putting up in his new work area.

After I helped him I mowed the lawn. I used the bagger since it was still a little damp from the rain shower we got last night here while we were in Hickory and because the Bermuda is so high and thick. 93 degrees feels like 100, yes it did except in the shade. There was a little bit of a breeze. A chance of more showers this afternoon. I am grilling steaks and chicken for dinner.

I am reading a new Lucy Stone mystery, English Tea Murder. Lucy and her friends from Tinker’s Cove have joined a small group from the local college on a trip to London for a girls getaway. Things do not get off to a good start when the tour director dies on the flight from an asthma attack. Once there, Lucy and friends find the rather eclectic group of students and parents to as odd as some of things they see in London.
