I am reading a new author on my Kindle, Kate Munger. Her character, Casey Jones, is an unlicensed PI living in Raleigh, NC. With a storied past and a quick wit, Casey works as a body guard for a local politician in the first book, Legwork. Her boss, a licensed PI, spends his days in the office answering the phone while Casey goes out and does the dirty work.
Well, Monday has come and gone again. We did a Costco run yesterday afternoon and dinner with Paul and Mary. Bob and I have adopted an all female Marine unit in the desert somewhere in Iraq or Afghanistan. We picked up extra supplies yesterday for Bob to divvy up and send in his regional rate boxes every few weeks. We are doing in honor of my dad, a very proud Marine. He was delighted when Bob told him about the project today when he went over to visit.
Rain and storms last night and again this afternoon.
