I am reading a new author, Sheila Boneham, who writes the Animals in Focus mystery series. Sheila has written many non-fiction books on various dog breeds and dog training. Her first book in the series, Drop Dead on Recall, introduces us to photographer Janet MacPhail owner of an Australian Shepherd. When a Border Collie handler drops dead at an obedience trial Janet becomes the number one suspect. Thus begins her foray into solving crimes.
The weekly house cleaning chores are complete. I caught up the ironing and worked on my desk. I need to balance both check books, pay some bills, and do some other little chores before I meet Frances, Al, and mom for brunch. They came by yesterday to drop off a huge box of loose pictures and old albums we had in storage from mom and dad’s house. I am going to get them in some sort of large organized mess then take a few over at a time for mom to work on sorting into picture boxes and/or albums. I have a similar project going on here on some of my old picture albums.
It is not all that hot but it is very humid already.
