I am reading a new Susan Wittig Albert, The Darling Dahlias and the Texas Star. This is Albert’s post depression series set in the small town of Darling, Alabama. It’s now 1932 and the economy is still bad with no jobs and no money. The Darling Garden Club is doing their part to help those in need and solving crimes in their spare time.
