I’m back. We arrived back in Winston-Salem this evening around 6pm. Bob met us at the bus. We spent a day in Dearborn, MI at the Ford Museum and Village on Sunday. Monday we arrived in Mackinaw City, MI around 3:00 to catch the boat over to Mackinac Island for two days, then on to Sault St. Marie, MI. After spending the afternoon walking around the town we did a dinner cruise that night through the Soo Lock on both the US and Canadian side. Next day we drove to Frankenmuth, MI where we spent the afternoon walking around that town before visiting Bronners, the largest Christmas store in the US. Friday and today was ride day. Yes, I did this trip back in 1999 with my sister and folks but Marcy wanted to do the trip so I went with her. A lot had changed in 14 years. We had great weather all week until today. It poured rain all day from Lexington, KY to Winston and is still pouring.

We had a great time but I am glad to be home. I missed Bob and Colin but had a great week of relaxing and enjoying myself.
