I am reading The Blue Coyote by Karen Musser Nortman on my Kindle. This is the second book in her Frannie Shoemaker Campground Mystery series. Frannie and her husband travel the country with their fifth wheel camper meeting up at various campgrounds with her husband’s sister and husband and friends. Sometimes they bring along Frannie’s two grandchildren. Lots of good camping lore along with a great cast of characters make for a good read even if you don’t camp.
Bob and I did a lot of tent camping in our early years before I became too old to crawl in and out of a tent at 2am to go to the bathroom and to sleep on the ground in a sleeping bag. We graduated up to B&B’s and Inn’s for awhile.
