I am now reading the 7th book in Ann Mullen’s Jesse Watson mystery series, All About Money. Since I am not able to drive I have been taking this opportunity to read more of my Kindle books rather than reserve books at the library. With this series, I did not have book 6 but did not mind skipping it to read 7. While it is a good series and I enjoy the characters book six just happened to be one where the author took them “off site” from the home setting for the series.
The rain has moved through but it is still grey and chilly today. I spent the morning balancing the checkbooks with last month’s statements. I went downstairs and flattened boxes for the recycling bin and brought up more food from the downstairs freezer.
