I am reading A Deadly Bean Grind by Cynthia Gallant-Simpson.

Last week when we came home from Winston as we were pulling into the driveway we saw something furry go across the porch. It was too big to be a squirrel. Bob thought it was a weasel by the way it walked.

Just a few minutes ago I was in the den looking out the window when it went by in the grass along the front porch. By the time I made it up and out the door it has gone around to the side of the house heading toward the back. I called Bob to come look out the deck door as he was sitting there eating part of a walnut shell. It toddled off before I could get his picture but we have decided it is a baby groundhog. He either lives in the field behind us or over in Bonnie’s field.

I went to the gym this morning. We have been filling bottles the afternoon.
